Opel Grandland: Adaptive IntelliLux LED® Pixel Light

    OPEL keeps boosting ADB democratization

    Germany/Reutlingen, 21st July 2022

With the latest Grandland, Opel has taken another successful step towards democratization of LED ADB lighting. In all versions the car is equipped with full-LED lighting systems from Marelli Automotive Lighting.

Fitting seamlessly in the new Opel front styling called “Vizor”, the headlamps enable the implementation of the brand-specific styling requirements in an outstanding manner.
The sophisticated, first-in-class lighting technology significantly improves night driving safety. Adaptive pixel light technology called “IntelliLux LED®”, available as option, provides an 84-pixel matrix per headlamp (168-pixel segments per car(!)). It offers all adaptive lighting functions including high-end segmented glare-free high beam. The low beam modes vary from city light over country light to motorway light. Bending light, curve light and adverse weather light further optimize the driving experience. With this technology Marelli Automotive Lighting supports and further enhances the traffic safety – turning night into day.

The headlamps of Opel Grandland are available as base version using all-LED reflection system and optionally as high-end version using an intelligent 84-pixel all-LED projection system.
